Daisee68 2,493 Posted June 25, 2015 Totally agree!! It was the 2nd thing I ate on the 1st day I was allowed pureed foods. Yummy!! And I'm not even a huge fan of Italian food
Djmohr 6,965 Posted June 25, 2015 I will be trying this recipe in the next day or two. Thanks for sharing!

Willow822 24 Posted June 25, 2015 I ate that every day for a week! I also loved the black bean puree with greek yogurt on top! Yum!!
no onions 258 Posted June 25, 2015 This is most definitely on my list. Though it would have been on a "what the hell, this sounds weird" list a few weeks ago. My first follow-up is tomorrow and I hope that I am cleared for puréed foods.
Veronda 30 Posted June 25, 2015 When off purees (I actually didn't even have a puree stage), you can add chopped cooked meatballs or browned ground meat and it's almost lasagna. I made a zucchini lasagna with zucchini (the only veg I'm currently allowed is zocchini/summer squash and canned green beans) in place of noodles and it was so good!! I don't measure the cheeses, etc, just eyeball. Shelly's recipe is the way my mom has always made the filling for lasagna, and I like hers better than Italian restaurants. 1 Bookkeeper bariatric reacted to this
kfs101114 2 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) This sounds really good - and easy! I am headed to grocery tomorrow to grab few items to finish out my "mushy food" week. I read the nutrition facts on this - - really 960 calories?? That seems like a lot for one serving. *Edit update** I found other nutritional information on this site - 88 calories, 3.3 carbs, 9.2 Protein, 4 fat - DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE SERVING SIZE IS? Sweedfire86 29 Posted July 9, 2018 I just made this tonight and it is fantastic. The only thing I may do next time is add some fresh minced garlic. It’s an outstanding recipe and the calorie count isn’t bad at all.
