It could be a leak. It could be gas. It could be something else or nothing.

But you won't know unless you get examined medically.

My surgeon looked at it yesterday and said he thought everything was fine but it still hurts its low on my left side

How would you know if you have a leak

I'm having similar pain, I'm pretty sure it's bowel related. I'm never constipated, and I've been going at least once a day (sorry for the Tmi). However, it is lower than the stomach, I had had a c.t. scan, no leak. Try a stool softener or maybe something a little stronger. Our sleeve is getting used to a change in textures after many weeks of liquid and things maybe clogging up.

I'm having fairly similar pain too and am planning on asking my surgeon about it at my follow-up tomorrow. But I'm going fairly regularly too and stool softeners haven't helped the pain. When the pain wasn't as bad last week, I asked my surgeon and said it was probably just exertion-related because I had been doing more housework and bending over a lot - it hurts below my lower stitches, mostly on my right side.

I tried gas x, helped a little, but it's not a sharp gas pain, more of a bloated full feeling, lower than my stomach. I've struggled even sleeping on my stomach, which was not an issue a couple days ago. I have a call into my doc, I don't go back for 2 weeks. Have you started pureed or soft foods recently?

He said I was all good just worries me because it hurts so bad maybe it's female stuff

That is kind of what it feels like, although, worse than I'm used to in that department. I was told by a nurse that had it...hormones and your cycle can be more in volume afterwards...maybe that's it, has been 3 weeks!?!?

. Feeling the same way. Left ovary pain, and a bit higher. I called my clinic and got the hormone talk too. 3weeks out at 45. I'm using liquid Tylenol before bed, and I'm up at 2 am writing this. It's been about 4 days and my felt like gas too. Then moved lower.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
