Karlnjax 163 Posted June 22, 2015 My surgeon is requiring Pulmonary Clearance and I am already on a Bi-Pap machine. Does anyone have any idea what they will do to approve clearances for me? I pray they don't want me to have to do another sleep study prior to surgery. I know I will need one sometime after surgery when I have lost a lot of weight. Thanks y'all Karl
Djmohr 6,965 Posted June 22, 2015 I was on Bipap as well. To get clearance I I needed was a copy of my last sleep study and a printout of your last download. I was immediately cleared. You should ask them what this entails.
Karlnjax 163 Posted June 23, 2015 I was asked to bring my Bi-Pap with me to the office visit, but as far as the last sleep study... it's been a while and I guess that doctors office would need to locate that? It's been about 5 years I would guess. I hope that does not hold my surgery up.
