NoMoreWeightNJ 225 Posted June 20, 2015 Forgive me men, but I need the ladies ears for a moment! I'm 4 weeks post op and am dealing with my first real pms cravings. I want chocolate! What do you veterans do to stifle your cravings? Tonight I mixed a tbsp of organic Peanut Butter and Sugar Free Chocolate pudding and that seemed to kill it. When is it safe to eat even a small square of dark chocolate? That used to be my go to before surgery!
simplyamy 14 Posted June 20, 2015 Have you tried Sugar Free Chocolate popsicles? Those are pretty tasty!
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted June 20, 2015 Dark chocolate Protein pudding, chocolate Protein Shakes, chocolate calcium chews, chocolate protein bars...I haven't had many days without chocolate since surgery.
wascott 395 Posted June 20, 2015 Try adding unsweetened cocoa powder to your chocolate Protein Shakes. It's low calories and adds some additional chocolate flavor. If you like Peanut Butter I recommend PB2. It's powdered peanut butter and much lower in fat than conventional peanut butter. (I mix it into vanilla Protein shakes)
Jewelgirl04 106 Posted June 20, 2015 I made a DELICIOUS Protein shake with half a container of my chocolate ready to drink Protein Shake (Premier Protein, but you can really use anything), a handful of ice cubes, and a single serving container of SF chocolate pudding. It tasted like brownie batter and it was DELICIOUS.
