alindsey 230 Posted June 20, 2015 Anyone take Gummy Fiber or Vitamins? Anyone have issues with them upsetting your new tummies? I'm taking the melting type now but I miss my fiber gummies!?? I'm almost at week 3 obviously I'll wait till week 4 to even think about trying them but was curious if anyone else takes them!?
rgodfrey09 98 Posted June 20, 2015 I'm curious as to this as well. I have a chewable Multivitamin and am on my 3rd one, all make me gag. I used to do a Gummy multivitamin and would really like to use that again, but don't want to hurt my sleeve. Anyone had success/failure with gummies? I do a dissolvable Biotin that is delicious, wish my multi could taste like that.

glitter eyes 1,398 Posted June 23, 2015 I am one year post op and I have taken gummy vitamins since week three. I just chew them really well. I also take Vitamin b liquid twice a week and Biotin. I have never had any problems with them and my labwork has been normal this entire time.
hockeyfan7 249 Posted June 26, 2015 I take Gummy B12. I'm 4 weeks out. Sometimes I take a gummy multi-Vitamin but usually I use Flinstones Complete chewables.< /p>
BizzyB 119 Posted June 27, 2015 I was told to take a chewable multi vit for my first month post surgery. I couldn't find a normal chewables ANYWHERE. I was just discussing this with my dietician yesterday and she said they are hard to find. I told her I was taking a Gummy cause that's pretty much the market for chewables these days. She said that was fine. I chew them up really well and I haven't had any problems; I am 2.5 weeks out. At one month I will stop with those though and switch to my bariatric multi vit as instructed. Julzzz 9 Posted July 17, 2015 My doctor said not to take gummy vitamins - only chewables. He said there is a specific Vitamin missing in the Gummy. I found mine at CVS. They aren't bad at all to taste.
reree6898 1,164 Posted July 17, 2015 My dr and dietician both said most gummies are missing Iron and are too low on a few other key nutrients and sure enough mine that I love were missing iron so that is why they recommend two flintstone completes a day.
