sunshinetinaz 30 Posted June 19, 2015 I feel like I could eat my neighbors!! I was fine until today. I'm sure it's psychological. On Friday nights we usually go out to dinner and tonight that can't happen. Although I've been preparing for these days by minimizing my food intake and managing to lose 19lbs before my pre op. It's still hard. Or shall I say torture. Need to up in some Water and have some more yummy broth. Lol. Anyone have any helpful hints besides telling me it'll be worth it? sunshinetinaz 30 Posted June 20, 2015 I know I'll get used to it. I think I need to get more of a variety. Maybe some other type of broth. Spice it up.
jadama22 110 Posted June 20, 2015 Today i guess is day 4 for you, but this is day one and im like OMG the shake is yucky and im going to have to do this diet for 1wk pre-op and 2wks after surgery. Re-training my brain i can see will be a work in progress. I took a route today while driving that would have normally been a pick-me up brunch at Dunkin Donuts, but then I realized - uh you are on a diet -hello - geez this wont' be easy - surgery date is June 29. And it's going to be a journey. This morning my family went to Breakfast and I chose to stay. I'm just not mentally able to not eat something. The shake was good and I had lots of Water. It is getting easier.
