Misty101 10 Posted June 18, 2015 My Surgery is scheduled for July 2nd, My Pre-Op is Scheduled for July 1st. No diet before hand.. My starting Weight is 180 at 5'4, My goal is 125-135.. I have DM and Hypertension. So excited to start this journey. I have been keeping this to my self other than my husband and my mother but no one else knows. Because as low bmi'ers know when I went to get all my pre testing done I got crazy and mean comments from others. I say their just jealous why does any one care what I do to my body anyway. I don't have a problem with Sweats really I love my pastas and Soda. LOL I'm drinking as much now as I can. I will stop 3 days before hand so I wont have a splitting headache after surgery. But I'm looking forward to this life style change and ready to embrace what's a head. Anyone else want to keep in touch and share experiences with me? 3bzmom 96 Posted June 19, 2015 I'm hoping to be an August low BMI surgery! 5'1", 190 lbs. I used to be a runner, so I have a lot of friends who still run & bike, and there have recently been several people bragging about not needing "gimmicks like shakes or surgery" to lose weight. I haven't said anything except to one close friend, who then said, "You're fat, but not THAT fat, and you just need to start exercising again. RUDE!! She is well aware that my degenerating hip is keeping me away from exercising. Anyways, I'm hoping for approval with comorbidities if the hip, hyperlipemia, and mild sleep apnea. I should know next week.
