lauraellen80 855 Posted June 17, 2015 I'm taking pills now, my surgery was on Monday. I tried to take a oxycodone pill when I was still in he hospital yesterday, but i gagged on it. Today I was able to take my antidepressant and Pepcid without problems swallowing. I do recommend taking pills while standing up rather than sitting or lying down, and raising your arms over your head if the pill feels stuck. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
