missheidi47 127 Posted June 15, 2015 So I've gotten at least 70g of Protein daily every day since I started on Clear Liquids (surgery 4/6.) Today I'm not feeling well, probably stomach bug since I'm not usually nauseated and crampy. Not vomiting, and I've eaten a little: chicken Soup at lunchtime and a soft boiled egg for dinner. There is no way I'm getting more than about 40g of protein today. I thought about a Protein Shake or some yogurt, but it doesn't sound at all appealing. How big a deal is it if I don't get my protein in today? I'm on track with liquids and I know that's the most important thing. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

TammyDTM 391 Posted June 16, 2015 You'll be alright @missheidi47. You are doing a good job and being mindful of what you are supposed to be doing. All of us, I am sure, have had a day or two of not getting in all of our Protein or all of our Water. Circumstances will come up at different times throughout your journey that will make it tough for you to reach your number. Don't beat yourself up about it and just do better the next day.
