Lanewboricua 14 Posted June 15, 2015 So my incisions are pretty sore and kinda itchy (guess from my clothing rubbing against it) what do any of you recommend for that or at least to help the incisions to fade nicely instead of scarring.

vickylyn1973 53 Posted June 15, 2015 Mederma is great for scars. You can buy at any pharmacy. You can also use coco butter.
LoreLu 79 Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) I was told to cover the incision site with gauze and keep it in place with Press 'N Seal (yep, the stuff from the kitchen cabinet!). The P'NS will adhere to your skin but not irritate as badly as tape or regular bandages. Itchy is a normal stage of healing. You might ask if you can use any lotions/gels on it to keep it moist. bigfatgoodbye 82 Posted June 15, 2015 EpiDerm, ScarAway, and Cica are silicone gel sheets that you can cut to size and help flatten and minimize scarring. Especially good for raised or hypertrophic scars. You can buy on Amazon.
