jlcohio 24 Posted June 14, 2015 Yesterday I saw one of my sisters-in-law who I haven't seen for a couple months. She was going on and on about how awesome I look and how jealous she was. She asked me what I weigh now and when I told her she said that I was 10 lbs less than her. I could not believe it because I have always considered her to be slim. Sure she has some more padded areas, but that's not unusual for a 50 year old mother of two. To know that I weigh less than her is incredible to me. We are very close in height so that doesn't make a big difference. At 6 months out and feeling like the scale isn't moving fast enough this was a great NSV. lswatson 0 Posted June 14, 2015 Congrats on the wt loss! And the envy of your sister-n-law????... However, don't get discouraged w/ the plateaus. I had my surgery 5/15/13, have lost 140, and gained and lost this same 15 several times over. But this is a journery. Don't forget this is a life style change for life. No giving up and going back to old habits. Keep going to skinny girl stores, trying on their clothes, and fitting them????... that totally motivates me. Whatever your workout plan is, stick to it, but change it up. Get a personal trainer, if you can afford one or us XHIT.com... the plateaus don't last long. So far my longest was 3wks. It sucked, but I just kept working out, eating right, getting rest and stayed w/ my morning Protein Shake. Don't give that up. I hope my advice has encouraged you. Stay motivated... Pinterist totally motivates me...
jlcohio 24 Posted June 14, 2015 Thank you! I'm not giving up I think I'm just impatient to get the weight off. I know it is a journey and not a race.
