rora 24 Posted July 30, 2015 Yes in the beginning you're going to feel EVERYTHING as it travels down to your stomach and gets settled. For me it was like a bad ache that went away after a few seconds, almost like a contraction!
MrsRoboto 370 Posted July 30, 2015 I was sleeved on Monday and I'm doing great. They all thought I was a rockstar at the hospital, I even got discharged a day early. Yesterday was my first full day home and I drank 3 shakes and got in 58 grams of Protein. I thought I'd be struggling more! Today I'll get 62 grams in. Yesterday I even drove my 3 kids to the dentist 20 minutes away. That was a bit much and I probably shouldn't have done it but I did. Today I had to bring my daughter to and from camp, but that a shorter drive in town. I'm pretty pleased with how well everything is going!
tjstark 74 Posted August 1, 2015 I am two days out now, feeling a lot better than the first day! I'm sipping constantly throughout the day. I wish I could rid myself of the horrible gas pains though, the actual incisions don't hurt much!
doubledinfla 84 Posted August 1, 2015 I am two days out now, feeling a lot better than the first day! I'm sipping constantly throughout the day. I wish I could rid myself of the horrible gas pains though, the actual incisions don't hurt much! I had mine on Wednesday. I agree w you about the gas pains. And is it just me - it feels weird drinking like it hits something and then drops? And I have like a million belly noises and pains inside (not incisions). I am having a hard time w the liquids. Yesterday I got 20 oz Water in and a 1/2 Protein Shake. I am trying to sip all day and walk. It's really hard. How are you doing w intake?
