tonjadburks 0 Posted June 13, 2015 Hey everyone, I had my surgery on June 2nd along with my gallbladder removed. It was kind of an emergency surgery for my gallbladder and I didn't go through preop diet. I finally got up the nerve to step on the scale this morning and I have lost 15lbs. I am kinda disappointed ... should I have lost more weight by now? Is this good progress?
padremama 101 Posted June 13, 2015 I had lost 15 lbs at 2 weeks and then went on stall. Today at 20 pounds and I was sleeved on May 20. So you are doing fine.

AngelaWilliamsMD 290 Posted June 13, 2015 Congratulations on the surgery! Without knowing your starting weight, it's a bit harder to know if you are truly losing on average with the rest of us, but it's a good starting point nevertheless. Keep going... Dysruption 70 Posted June 14, 2015 15 lbs in 11 days is phenomenal when you stop and think about it. You're going to shed that early weight pretty quickly. Just keep up with your Protein and Water intake and it will continue to fall. Just some advice for heading into week 3, stay off the scale for at least 2 weeks. I unfortunately did not and when the inevitable stall hit me, it sort of bummed me out even though I knew it was coming. Your body cannot simply drop all that weight without slowing down at some point. Keep up the great work, stick to your diet instructions and you'll drop that weight in no-time!
