LadyK44 263 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) As I was walking in the parking lot of my office building. I noticed my shadow. I love looking at my shadow because it outlines my progress. The other day, I noticed there's been a change in the way I walk. I no longer waddle when I walk. As I run towards my weight-loss goal. It helps to see that I have made changes. I still have to be careful not to run into park cars as I look down. My legs are looking longer and stronger here's to the future. I'm learning how to work this sleeved life! ???????????????? VSGAnn2014 12,992 Posted June 13, 2015 My body's automatic changes in how I move -- and my own conscious efforts to change how I move and how I hold my body (standing straighter, shoulders back, tits out, moving forward not side to side, holding my legs in closer, not out, not leaning on walls, head straight up, eyes forward, not down, etc.) has made a big difference in how I feel and how I present myself to others. When I weighed so much more it was hard enough just to move to get somewhere and then to slouch or collapse as soon as I got there -- whether it was across the room or across a parking lot. There's so much to this journey. So much!
MissLiss 71 Posted June 15, 2015 I love this topic! Lol...I was thinking the other day that I need to learn a better walk...it didn't occur to me that it may just unveil itself along with the rest of my body!
