Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted June 12, 2015 There are Soups and broths. You might check with your program to see if they allow them.

lisemaria 7 Posted June 13, 2015 Countdowntosleeve and handymannynyc1, I ,too started the Liquid Protein diet (on June 6).Having sleeve on June 22. Doing this preop liquid diet definately is no walk in the park, but not as difficult as I thought it would be! I think we need to be very proud of ourselves for having the motivation and disipline to do this !! A tip: whenever I feel weak willed and want to "cheat" , I watch "My 600 Ib Life", or "Fat Doctor" online!

aliciac 6 Posted June 20, 2015 I have bought Campbell's bean with bacon Soup and cream of potato soup. I blend it in the blender and then heat it up in a coffee cup to drink. It is much more satisfying than the other types of boxed creamed Soups. I also have a Protein Shake in the morning. I put a 90 calorie yoplait yogurt, and 1 cup of non fat milk, 1 scoop of Protein Powder, and some frozen fruit. My nutritionist said that was o.k. to have. In the evenings I have 1 Protein Drink from a container (premier) and some more soup. I'm hungry all the time, I'm hoping it will start to get better soon. My program would not have allowed potato soup pre-op but would have post-op. The pre-op diet for me was high-protein no carbs/starches.
lorilove 38 Posted June 27, 2015 Try adding flavorless whey powder to broth. It is a lot more filling.
