I am 3 months out and have started to lose a considerable amount of hair, I get my Protein in and follow my plan religiously. Problem is I was using Biotin before for menopausal Hair loss and now it doesn't seem to be working. Is their any other Vitamins or supplements that I should look into.

I am not the wig or hat wearing type of gal so I getting really scared. I know people recommend cutting your hair but my hairloss is so noticeable that it would only show more of my scalp.

Really scared and need advise. :(

I am 9 months out from surgery and have been losing hair since about 3 months out. I was taking (2) 5000 mcg Biotin's daily for 5 months and I didn't feel like is was helping. About a month ago I switched to Viviscal (at the suggestion of my physician). It appears my Hair loss has slowed down which I am attributing to the switch, but it could also be the fact that I am not in the rapid weight loss phase anymore. I also started using Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo and conditioner and applying Matrix Biolage Advanced Keratindose which contains Protein daily. I will try anything to stop loosing my hair!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
