Does anyone have any tips to getting all my Protein in daily? I'm easily getting all my liquids in, except I'm not really tolerating Protein Drinks (they make me feel yucky). I'm eating Oikos Greek Triple Zero which is 15g of protein in one cup, but am looking for more options, anyone tried powdered milk as a source of protein? Any ideas? :)

Every Protein drink that I have tried makes me want to vomit so I am in the same boat.

I have found the Think Thin Protein Bars are pretty good and they have 20g in a small bar. I can only eat half at a time so I do morning and bed time snack.< /p>

I love PB2 just on a spoon.

tuna and scrambled eggs are my go to foods. Deli turkey or ham as well.

How far out from surgery are you? What phase are you?

If you don't like Protein shakes you might want to try ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates. It's what I was given in the hospital and they really helped me get my Protein in early out.

My program does allow adding powdered milk to increase the protein count of milk.

You also might try no sugar added carnation instant Breakfast.

I'm always changing my Protein drinks up. My program calls for 60-90 grams just from drinks, in addition to food. For a few weeks I was drinking two Premier Protein drinks daily to meet the minimum. This week I've started making drinks again using frozen fruit, yogurt, milk and Protein powder (either unflavored, banana or orange depending on what flavor I'm going for).

In the first few weeks post-surgery I found that I had to drink them really slowly, but as time has passes it has gotten easier. I can drink the Premier Protein shakes the fastest, I think because they are the thinnest.

I've also found it easiest to get all the Protein in when I'm on a schedule.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
