So I need some advice. I have hit a plateau that has lasted more or less for the last month and I am getting frustrated???? I was banded on Jan 8th 2015 and I am down 45lbs. I am feeling great and moving so much better than ever before. The scale is just stuck and over the last few weeks my stress has turned into stress eating. I have not been making the best food choices and I have actually gained 2-3lbs. I just want to know what others have done to break their plateaus and to stay focused on their goals. My next goal was to be down to 50lbs by my birthday which is on July 6th but now I am stresses about that goal. I know things take time and will take their own course but I have a bit of a type A personality and I want things just so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated ????

Try not to worry about the number. I know easier said than done. I was in the same boat in May. I was so close to 100 pounds that I think I actually psyched myself out.

Just try to stick to your food plan and listen to your belly, not your mind.

Have you done any measurements? Even though my scale didn't move much in May (I actually gained 1 week as well) my inches went down.

NSV's can get you through a scale plateau. Just try to keep in mind it's just a number.

Good luck!!

Have you tried any exercise? I found when I hit my first plateau even a little bit of exercise each day (just walking in the neighborhood) started my metabolism back up and helped with wanting to give in to the mental piece of the battle.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
