bluesclues 49 Posted June 8, 2015 Any suggestions on how I can use this? It's disgusting when I mixed into food...made a shake and same thing
lark60 431 Posted June 8, 2015 I use it in place of 1/2 the flour required for cooking recipes (breads and biscuits) so the carb count is lower and Protein count is up! I have made pancakes using eggs, the Protein powder and milk (so no flour at all) PS: Biscuits are Cookies (I'm from England so I forget the language differences sometimes)
Soonergal91 20 Posted June 8, 2015 Lark60 is that all you put in the pancakes? I'm only to the pureed stage post op but for some reason I have been wanting pancakes....can't eat for a while yet and I'm scared to try some things but those sure sound good! lark60 431 Posted June 18, 2015 The pancakes are made with 1 egg, 1 scoop of Protein powder (I have used vanilla, Cookies and cream, unflavored and coconut) and 1/2 cup of milk (or use soy or almond milk). Mix the ingredients together. (can add 1/4 tsp of baking powder if you want fluffy pancakes) Cook on a greased skillet.
