rsb0807 13 Posted June 14, 2015 (edited) I have a question. I had my last 6mos weigh in and I am waiting on my approval from United Healthcare for my sleeve. But now it seems I am sooo hungry now. I nibble here and there thinking I wont be eating this and that etc. The whole past 6-7months it has not been on my mind. Did anyone else do that--get kinda food crazy at the end :-) ? rsb0807 13 Posted June 14, 2015 Sugarbabe, I like the Shirataki Noodles vs regular noodles. They make a nice Pasta substitute.
JamieLogical 8,713 Posted June 15, 2015 So a coworker of mine drinks this "New whey liquid Protein" i tried some and i thought it didn't taste too bad. Has 42g of Protein in it. No sugar.no fat and about 2g of carbs. Anyone heard/ tried this after the sleeve? @@kiks I have a few concerns about that New Whey product. First off, 42 grams is too much Protein for your body to properly process at one time. You need to keep your protein under 30 grams per serving and give your body time to properly digest and absorb it, before having more. So really, the extra 12 grams in that product would be "wasted" and might have slight detrimental effect on your kidneys. Secondly, collagen is listed as the first protein ingredient on the label and as far as protein supplements are concerned, you should be looking for whey isolate. That is the best and most complete form of protein supplement that your body will be able to fully absorb and utilize.

JamieLogical 8,713 Posted June 16, 2015 @@prbaby28 Hang in there. It will get easier day by day. I noticed huge improvements in my energy level as I moved through the different food stages. Once I got to solids, there was a lot of trial and error in accurately judging how much I could "safely" eat and pacing myself, but I did feel much better in general. Just take it day-by-day, stick to your plan, and be gentle with yourself.
