Dee1402 9 Posted June 8, 2015 I couldn't wait! Dreamt about egg and cottage cheese. Today after 3 weeks of liquids, I made my first meal. Scrambled egg with fat free milk and mixed in fat free cottage cheese. Only managed 5 spoons. Is this the way it is going to be???
jane13 2,256 Posted June 8, 2015 for a bit yes - I am almost five weeks out and I am not able to eat a lot 8 - 10 (small fork) and then I am done (maybe 1/2 cup). The variety of more foods is nice and I don't want to waste my "bites" to junk :/
Garifab_VSG 122 Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) My first meal was fat free refried Beans, about 1.5 oz. Your sleeve will definitely relax a bit more and you'll be able to eat more than five bites. Tomorrow is 10 weeks out for me, and I can already eat about 3-4 oz at a time now. Edited June 8, 2015 by Garifab_VSG
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted June 8, 2015 My nutritionist says up to 5 weeks is 1/2 cup...6 weeks forward is 3/4 cup for sleevers. I intend to always measure because I am not going to regain my weight. I am full at 1/2 cup now so why eat more? That is what got me here.
