rhfactor272 50 Posted June 7, 2015 So I'm almost a year out. I'm still losing but fairly slowly. I feel like I can be eating better as I tend to hit some carbs & sweets probably more than I should. It happens! But I want to get my diet back in check. I was considering doing the ol clear liquid diet for a few days in attempt to reset my mind and body & diet. Has anyone done this or anything similar to get back on track? I'm not trying to be one of those people bypass didn't ultimately work for and gain it all back. I'm terrified of this. IcanMakeit 1,318 Posted June 7, 2015 When I used to diet, I found it helpful to start with a "cleanse." Making a drastic change in my eating habits for a few days did seem to help me take my diet seriously. For a while. But now I'm leaving the diet mentality behind. Now I'm concentrating on nutrition and controlling recreational eating for the long term.
mitzie46 116 Posted June 7, 2015 I'm almost 2 years out and am holding steady within 4 pounds. I really want to lose about 16 more pounds. I am also afraid of gaining the weight back. I thought about going back to Protein Shakes with some salads to try to jump start. I know many people have done a 5 day pouch test. I am also consider in this as an option. Good luck! rhfactor272 50 Posted June 7, 2015 What's the pouch test. I remember reading about it in my early days but didn't pay much attention at the time...
giantslsu47 30 Posted June 24, 2015 I would like to know. What is the pouch test? I'm down 56lbs since 4/29/15. That was the day I got sleeved. I'm at a stall now I need some suggestions
rhfactor272 50 Posted June 24, 2015 Wow! That's great! I think patience is your key being only a few months out. I remember the feeling though. The loss will kick in again. I swear your weight will settle in for a good period of time occasionally. I hated it. More will come off, trust!
giantslsu47 30 Posted June 25, 2015 Thank you for the advice. Sometimes you just need to hear the support and positive feedback
