leag78 469 Posted June 2, 2015 In the ER. For the past couple of days I've been experiencing abdominal cramps so severe I feel it up to my chest. I've already had my period 2 weeks ago, but the cramps sort of feel like that or if you were to have diarrhea, but bowel movements seem to be fine. The longest I've gone was a week without a BM, and after that I had my BM Thursday and again on Sunday. I'm nervous because when I research online I found out that it could be an ulcer or gallstones and I pray that its neither one of them. Prayers and advice is welcome. Micdruss 213 Posted June 2, 2015 Good luck! Hopefully it's gas or reflux or something easier to fix!
leag78 469 Posted June 2, 2015 Awe thanks, they did a CT scan and blood work and didn't find anything. Which I'm glad because I thought it was an ulcer or gallstones. I really believe its a bowel thing, maybe I'm backed up or something. Because I'm still having these cramps.
Martene81 383 Posted June 2, 2015 Sorry you are going through this and thank goodness it is not anything serious. I did remember seeing one of your other posts where you recently said you ate 2 hotdogs...maybe that along with other things you are eating is giving you some trouble. Maybe you can retrace your eating and see if avoiding certain foods will keep this from happening again. Good luck!
leag78 469 Posted June 2, 2015 @@Martene81, you're right! I have to remember that I had surgery and a lot of the things I used to like my stomach may not agree with it anymore. Which is a way to keep me in check. I'm being careful now.
kiss-my-kitty 12 Posted June 7, 2015 How are you doing? Perhaps try adding a stool softener (Colase) to your daily Vitamin regimen? I did that for the first year to ensure I was going on a regular basis.
leag78 469 Posted June 7, 2015 I'm going to start doing that because I get backed up and when I finally do have to go it is painful.
