jazma 16 Posted June 1, 2015 Thinking of buying a vegetable spiralizer wondering if anyone else has tried one and what they think
mariahthompson0913 11 Posted June 1, 2015 My MIL just bought me one, she's had hers for a while though and she loves it. Tons of awesome recipes for it on Pinterest
peaceout 273 Posted June 1, 2015 I like mine! I bought it for $12 or $13 on Amazon. It works really well with softer veggies like squash/zucchini. It didn't work the best on a carrot. My husband, on the other hand, still won't eat his vegetables, even when they look like noodles.
AvaFern 3,516 Posted June 1, 2015 Love mine! I got the Vegetti on Amazon and have since sent one to a lot of my female friends. I like using it for cucumber salad and zucchini noodles with marinara.
liannatx 897 Posted June 1, 2015 Like @@AvaFern, I love it for Zuchinni noodles. I haven't been using it post-op, but we used it quite a bit before I had surgery.
TEXASLADY52 264 Posted June 1, 2015 Someone recommended the Paderno Spiral Vegetable Slicer. You can get them from Amazon......I am going to order me one.
tomi71 581 Posted June 1, 2015 I adore mine. I make zucchini Pasta all of the time. I've even used carrots, yellow squash, and parsnips. Hard cukes work well too.
liannatx 897 Posted June 1, 2015 I got mine on Amazon, and they have them at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It was about $10, and called "The Veggetti". That name cracks me up for some reason : )
Nikasio 59 Posted June 1, 2015 (edited) @@jazma As a guy, I am into gadgets. If it gets me to eat my veggies it will be worth the investment to try this. There is even a cook book called Inspiralized. They'll make a cook book about anything. Thank you for this topic. Edited June 1, 2015 by Nikasio
gigito2 52 Posted June 2, 2015 Haven't tried it yet, but your post inspired me to do some research. Along with what others have mentioned, I like this site: http://www.eatingwell.com/blogs/food_blog/spiralized_vegetable_noodles_recipes_to_up_your_pasta_game
pink dahlia 2,513 Posted June 2, 2015 I bought one from Bed, Bath and Beyond a few months ago. It wasnt worth the $10-12 dollars that I paid. It was hard to get the simplest veggie to spiral. Just my opinion.
jazma 16 Posted June 2, 2015 I just bought one today on Amazon excited to try it out ????

LipstickLady 25,682 Posted June 2, 2015 "Tastes just like pasta", my arse... Unfortunately, veggies taste more like ass than Pasta. Sigh.
roundisashape 712 Posted June 2, 2015 I had one that looked kind of like an hourglass - can't remember what it was called, but it just ticked me off. I never got the hang of it, I guess? I want one of the ones with a handle!
