MarceMonster 161 Posted May 31, 2015 Hello everyone, so my surgery is tomorrow. They said I need to be in the hospital around 11 and my surgery should take place around 12:45. I am going to be so thirsty! No food or Water allowed after midnight tonight. Anyway, I am super excited and nervous all rolled into one feeling. If anyone has any pointers or suggestions for the day of surgery please let me know. Thank you!!????❗️????
lexiemia 78 Posted May 31, 2015 Good luck tomorrow. I know what you mean about being thirsty. I was told to be at the hospital at 10:00. They did not take me back to surgery until around 1:30. I was glad they did let me have some ice chips that evening but the nausea was so bad that I didn't even want to eat them. I hope things go smooth keep us posted. Chap stick or some sort of lip balm is a good idea.

mchap25 65 Posted June 1, 2015 You'll be going in about the time I hope to be in surgery. The thirst thing is going to bother me too. I get one small sip with a required medicine in the morning. I'll savor that I guess! Here's to being on the other side soon!
atontor 1,068 Posted June 1, 2015 I just had my surgery on Friday thankfully I was the first one at 7am but rubbing an ice cube on your lips should help you with the thirst along with taking Water just to wet your mouth.
