t_haii 38 Posted May 31, 2015 I am 6 weeks post op and no matter What I drink or eat I violently dry heave. Nothing comes up other than mass amounts of saliva. I'm starting to panic that something is horribly wrong despite being readmitted to the hospital last week and having tests done. Has anyone had a similar experience? I have anti nausea medication but I avoid taking it cause it makes me dry heave so bad. Either way I'm glad I'm not the only one who has experienced this. BubblyTXGirl 30 Posted June 8, 2015 Sadly like a month or more.. it was a bad time and I regretted my surgery but one day I woke up and it was gone.. the medication hardly worked for me. .i had the same problem. I called it buyers remorse I ended up being constipated. And the doc ordered the GI to look at my pouch. It does get better. Just like gruiz27 said
t_haii 38 Posted June 8, 2015 Ugh I'm going on week 3 of dry heaving from hell. I'm glad to hear it will end and that it hasn't ruined my life forever it's just hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've never been so sick in my life and I regret this surgery so much.
