I've heard post surgery horror stories about people not tolerating milk postoperative. But if I can handle yogurt, should I be able to handle milk?

I'm coming up on 7 months postop. I personally have had no issues with milk or yogurt. Greek yogurt is a staple for me. I hope you have positive results with your choices.

I always selected Greek yogurt and skim milk.

I even do soy or almond milk at times.

Hugs of support

I could not tolerate milk postop (gave me sharp pains), but I could eat Greek yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese and whey Protein just fine. After about 4 months my intolerance resolved and I could drink milk again with no problems. I also could not tolerate artificial sweeteners and plain Water, but after 4 months I had no issues with them either (although I prefer the taste of real sugar, stevia, honey or Monk Fruit over the artificial crap)
