Doddie63 6 Posted June 27, 2007 Hi: This is a great topic. Although the problem can be "difficult", the laugh lines are super. I get a good laugh everytime I check into this topic. Doddie
Bejeweled 0 Posted July 23, 2007 Just letting you know that I picked up the Benefibre. <grin> Thanks all who suggested it. Also, I broke down and finally bought the Magic Bullet blender which I am loving! It makes fantastic Protein and Fruit drinks. This thing is great. I have a full-sized blender but it's a pain to use and clean. I started to use the Magic Bullet in the mornings with AllMax Unflavoured Protein (bought it at Nutrition House in TD Center) with some Nesquick chocolate flavouring and some fruit, and it takes great. I picked up some bananas tonight and can't wait to try that out tomorrow with some chocolate Syrup and the skim milk. That's another great tip and wish I had bought the Bullet earlier for the pureed stage. Oh, well, live and learn.
Donna D 1 Posted July 24, 2007 Hi Bejeweled. I'm glad you like your bullet. I have a regular hand one by Braun and I love it too. Great if you're in a hurry in the am. Liquid Protein. Don't worry about not seeing too much in the way of weight loss. It will happen as soon as you start getting your fills.
Bejeweled 0 Posted July 24, 2007 Thanks, Donna. I'm trying to keep that in mind. I get the first fill on Monday so we'll see how everything goes after that.
peaches9 3 Posted July 25, 2007 DONNA D: Now that you have had some fills, how much are you able to eat at a meal??? I am trying to watch my portions right now.. I am using the 'cup' from the tea & Saucer set in my everyday dishes... holds about 1/2 cup to 5 oz. (liq measure).. So I am pureeing my food, had 2 meatballs, 1/2 scalloped potoates, 1/2 broccoli... Does that sound about right?? for amounts right now?
Apple07 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Nail polish remover failed for me as well. Then my sis (an actor) introduced me to a product that removes glues used for stage make-up. It worked wonders on removing the tape marks without irritating the skin. I think it's available in most large Shoppers (ask for "eye lash remover").
