So I have been taking Celebrate multi chewable for a week. The past two days I have started vomiting after taking it. I tried crushing it and putting it in sugar free juice, pudding etc. Within 2 mins of it being down it comes back up. I need vitamins!! Any other recommendations for a good multi. I have no issues with the Calcium.< /p>

I had the issue with the Calcium.

I spoke with my NUT n she switched me to the chewy starburst like calcium. She also said I could switch to the capsule but I'm almost 2 months post op.

You should contact ur nut n inform them of your issue.

Are you allowed to swallow pills now? I was allowed to swallow pills at 7 days post-op. Might be easier for you to handle than a chewable.< /p>

I absolutely dreaded chewing the Celebrate multi-v...I talked to my doc at 2 weeks, she said I could swallow pills but suggested I try to find smaller ones if possible...centrum women's offers a smaller pill. I tale it at night bc it sits a little heavy. Good luck!

Look into vitamin patches. Ive been using them faithfully. They are WONDERFUL! I have 4 different ones that have all the required Vitamins I need, I put it on for 24hrs and repeat every 4-5 days (2 of the Patches is every 4 days and the other 2 is every 5 days) my levels are all up to par and I don't have do swallow anything. I love my Viatamin Derma Patches. Check it out.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
