This may have been mentioned before but I don't remember seeing it.

I found a website, Gwynnie Bee where for a fee you can basically rent (borrow sounds better) designer clothes. This would be good if you were a professional woman who needed to dress well but knew it was crazy to buy something expensive you wouldn't be able to wear for very long or if you needed a dress for a special occasion. They have ALL sizes too. They carry other clothes besides dresses, all designer stuff.

If this is a repeat post, sorry. But this may be just what someone needs.

Louise

I joined a while ago, and was going to cancel because I wear scrubs to work. I was thinking it wasn't really worth the money for me. But since I had surgery it's perfect! I can borrow clothes for weekends and social occasions, and I have lots of options for sizes. Plus it's fun getting clothes in the mail to try on. My lighting is way better than the dressing rooms at the store.

"Rent the runway" is a similar site, no monthly fee though. You just pay when you rent! We have used it several times and it's awesome!!! All designer dresses and sizes 0-22. When you rent one size, you have can have another size (up or down based on reviews) sent free as well ????. Package includes return packaging and postage pre paid.

I really recommend it ????????

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
