Miss Meg 199 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Geez this weight loss thing can be tiresome. 2nd week in a row with zero loss... I know we all go through this and I'm not going to give excuses - just need to vent how frustrating it can feel!!! Edited May 28, 2015 by Miss Meg
KateP 359 Posted May 28, 2015 Yup! We know it is going to happen! We expect it to happen! But it is still a bummer when it does! I never had one of those really long stalls some people get but there were plenty of weeks when the numbers didnt change!
momfromjersey22 403 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) How long do these stupid stalls last? Its been almost two weeks and no loss. Ugh!!! Edited May 28, 2015 by momfromjersey22
KateP 359 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Between a week and six months. In fact, most people say it isn't a stall until three weeks. Edited May 28, 2015 by KateP
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted May 28, 2015 if you are losing inches (clothes getting looser/new smaller sizes) then its working...clothes are the best judgement to show any loss

gowalking 10,790 Posted May 28, 2015 CG is right. I've been at my current weight since January and have gone down as much as two clothing sizes. Somehow the body does get smaller even if it doesn't show on the scale. In fact, the only reason I weigh myself at all is because I'm on steroids and need to watch for Water weight gain as that can indicate kidney issues.

Jim1967 3,569 Posted May 28, 2015 Nothing sweeter than a non scale victory!!
pink dahlia 2,513 Posted May 30, 2015 Yes it can be frustrating, but instead of looking at the scale, try looking at your body instead. Getting slimmer in places ? Feeling better ? Clothes getting looser ? The scale is NOT always your friend, sometimes you need to look at other ways to see how well you're doing. Congratulations on your hard work so far ! Keep it up !!!
