jdaughe5 6 Posted May 27, 2015 Anyone have issues with dehydration? How long before you contacted doctor. I have been having terrible headaches(x 6days now)and notice my lips are dry. I've been tired easily but I have been getting fluids but obviously not enough. It's so damn hard getting them in between meals. I am 7 weeks out Gastric Bypass. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
Djmohr 6,965 Posted May 27, 2015 I am sure you already know this but the most important thing is getting all your fluids in. What worked and still works for me is actually sitting with that Water bottle in my hand and sipping on it until I get the whole thing in. I know I have to drink 3 of them to get my 64 oz. in. I do that 3 times per day and then everything else I get is just extra. If I don't sit with the bottle in hand dipping, I don't get my Water in and even 7 months out I get dehydrated. James Marusek 5,244 Posted May 27, 2015 After surgery, I found that I no longer enjoyed drinking ice Water. I adapted and started to drink Crystal Light. flavored water tasted better and was easier to get down. Later I began drinking fine teas.
rnyryry 8 Posted May 29, 2015 Call them now. I had diarrhea for two days and called and their suggestions cleared it right up. Don't wait, they are experts. In the hospital I was dehydrated and told them and they pumped me with fluids right away. Don't prolong your agony Lol
