Damn I just realized I had way too many calories yesterday but no matter how many calories I have I'm so dedicated I'm going to post every single day!:smile2:

Saturday

B- Water, coffee, 26g prot shot, meds & vit

L- 1/2c cot chse, 1/2c tuna sld, 1 slice ww toast, 1oz chse

D- 1 cheeseburger patty, 1 spicy chick patty, dipped in mayo, must, ketchup

Late snack- greek yogurt

lots of water thru the day.. very thirsty today!!:party:

Thanks Beacloud. I needed to hear that. Well here is what yesterday was like. I was a little worried with it being a Saturday and being off work but surprisingly I didn't have much of an appetite.

Breakfast-EAS shake 17 g Protein 110 Calories

Snack-Greek Yogurt-130 Cal 12g Protein

Lunch-Tuna salad and 6 crackers 180 Calories 17g Protein

Dinner-1/2 chicken salad sandwich 365 Calories 11g Protein

Snack- Other 1/2 chicken salad sandwich 365 Calories 11g Protein

Walked 20 Minutes

1150 Calories 68g Protein

I weighed myself this morning and was down another 1lb which makes 8 lbs this week.

Here's where I'm really ashamed.. I had to go out later.. Coming back I stopped and got some chocolate. I had myself a snickers and a reese's!! Oh my gosh I can't believe I did tHAT!! Before my band I was a binge eater.. Sometimes I actually still mourn the fact that I cant do that anymore.. I know its crazy! Cause I luv the new me!! I dont wanna go back to 405 pounds ever again!! Thats what scares the crap oughtta me!!Especially when I feel so out of control that I have to get food to make me feel better. Food has always been my drug of choice.. Wish the band could cure that!! I sure am glad this forum is here for me to vent.. I just need to be honest.. even when Im bad!! :) Thank God tomorrow is a new day!! :)

Im still in the Puree stage, only 2 days post op. Finding it difficult to know if im hungry, when to eat, drink etc.

Today i had"

Breakfast:1 egg scrambled.

Lunch: 1/2 Protein Shake.

Dinner: to be determined..

Definatly drinking my Water, I do miss coffee thought, anyone know when i can drink coffee again?

Alanna I don't see why you can't drink coffee. I always have and know several people who do. But always follow your doctor's instructions.

Lunch-2 tacos 380 Cal 17g Protein

Snack-Large order of french fries 327 Cal 5g Protein (Bad decision for a snack) and a small cup of regular coke 97 Cal

Dinner-2 tacos 320 Cal 18g Protein

Dessert-Grape pop ice popsicle 41 Cal

Exercise-Walked 20 Mins

Total Calories-1405

Total Protein-69

Meal 1. grilled chicken Sandwich, 1tbsp light mayo, Calcium Vitamin chew. 354 cal 31 pro

Snack- Rice Krispy Treats I made for work.. 140 cal 2 pro

Meal 2. salad with 2 Buffalo Chick Strips. Light Ita. Dressing. and Fries :( Small Order .. 551 Calories 57 pro.

Meal 3. 2 Tacos 280 cal 12 pro

Total= Calories 1385 Pro 102

Burned= 4559(via of bodybugg) Ran 3 miles

Fry bad choice but other than i am happy.. It was a good day compared my past few days...

I dont normally eat Breakfast foods because I work late evening shifts so i normally dont wake up until 10:30-11

Lunch-Salad with Lemon Pepper tuna 2 tbsp balasamic vinegarette dressing and croutons-395 Calories 38g Protein

Snack-2 servings of wheat thins-260 Calories 4g Protein

Dinner-3 pieces of Turkey Bacon and Eggbeaters-135 Calories 16g Protein

Snack-Oikos Greek Yogurt 90 Calories 10g Protein and 1 serving of baked hot cheetos 130 Calories

Total-1,360 Calories and 95g Protein and I did not exercise today :-( Mondays are too tiring for me.

Lifting chic. Yes I have tried the honey greek one and the strawberry. The only difference to me is that greek yogurt is a little more sour than regular yogurt but it doesn't bother me too bad. It has a lot of Protein in it so I eat it:cool:

Was it better than the strawberry? I hate yogurt but i try to make myself eat it.. I have been eating the Fiber one yogurt.. 50 calories, 5g fiber, 5 g pro

Eat the one that tastes better. If you have to eat 2 fiber one yogurts to get the Protein then do it atleast it's only 50 calories each. The greek yogurt can be anywhere from 90-130 calories. The strawberry tastes better for sure.

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
