Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

Yeah I love to post on the varies food threads. I also like to go to FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal. Jaxbander introduced me and it really helps to keep up with what you have been eating.:shades_smile:

Yesterday

B- small orange

L- 3/4 package of smoked salmon

D- 1/2 piece of tilapia

a few pieces of zuchinni and squash. Not much.

S- a small piece of lowfat icecream bar.

Since my fill last month, I'm very limited on what I eat! My typical day is:

Breakfast: coffee with lots of Milk

Lunch: Low Carb Slimfast

Snack: 90 calorie pack oatmeal bites

Dinner: 1/2 Cup Soup or chili or mac-n-cheese

Lots of water!

yesterday-

b- 1/2c honey nut cheerios & 2% milk w/blue berries

l - 4oz cottage cheese / 2oz deli ham

d- 1/4 cheese burger, no bun

s- handful walnuts

REALMCCOY: You can eat Mac n Cheese!!!! wow, which brand do you buy?? or do you make it from scratch? What is your recipe? I love mac n cheese and I didn't think I could have it. I haven't had my first fill yet, but I want to know what I can expect after the fill.

I like to eat string cheese but I have been eating it with about 4 crackers, do any of you eat your string cheese with crackers or are you eating it by itself?

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
