SpideyMom 1 Posted June 16, 2009 i sort of made mine up with leftovers. it was delicious. 2 cups of left over steak cut up 2 cubed green peppers 1 cubed onion 1 Tbsp. dried minced garlic 1/2 sour cream 1 can of cream of mushroom Soup 1 cup mozzarella or provolone cheese (shredded) saute green peppers and onion until soft. add cooked steak and heat through. stir in garlic. stir in sour cream and Soup and heat through. pour into 13x9 dish and sprinkle top with cheese.< /p> bake at 350 for 30 minutes. mine turned out a little soupy but i liked it that way. i would say if you wanted it to be thicker omit the sour cream or add al dente Pasta if you can eat it. here is a picture of mine Thanks so much! This sounds and looks wonderful! Thanks, also, truediva, for your recipe! My mouth is watering!
*slim* 2 Posted June 16, 2009 I watch the show Cook Yourself Thin. Love it! Record it on DVR and go back and make my recipe while watching the show (well, I pause it and rewind A LOT!) I am a bit of a picky eater, so I don't use a lot of the recipes, but the ones I use, I like a lot. Thanks. I did a search and found it. I am usually at work when it comes on. That explains why I hadn't actually seen it on. I will record a few on my DVR. Had a fill today so liquids only since lunchtime- b-coffee w/splenda, 1 mini babybel, 1oz mini pepperoni, yoplait light blueberry yogurt l-venti caramel machiatto d-warmed v-8 juice

Dani13 0 Posted June 17, 2009 B 2 eggs L 5 blue corn chips with about ½ cup shrimp, lemon and, cucumber and a tbs of humus S 1/4 cup coco roosted almonds D 1/4 cup salad with a few green olives, feta cheese, tbs humus and a few shrimp. I was dying for something sweet the other day and found this brownie mix at trader joes…. no pudge fudge brownies http://www.nopudge.com/. They are fat free and 110 calories…for me I’ll gladly take the extra 10 cal over the 100 cal Cookies packs that taste like cardboard. So anyways you make them with yogurt, so I used fat free Greek and added two scoops of chocolate Protein powder. SO yummy!!! and with the add ins about 10 grams of Protein a square. Just thought I would share.

scout47 1 Posted June 17, 2009 Good Morning, I have been reading your posts because I needed some Protein ideas, but I noticed a lot of you all hardly eat any protein. Now, I'm confused. I was banded 4/1/09 and was losing weight fine, then around the 6th wk I started gaining--after all that pain I don't want to be gaining w8!! Have lost a total of 37-40 lbs. My dr told me that I was not eating enough protein--I have irritable bowel syndrom which gives me lots of diarrhea & nausea, so I was just happy to eat anything I could keep down (and inside). Got a bit carried away with the carbs:mad2: and quit losing and even started gaining. All my dr really wants me to eat is protein first and foremost, then if I have room, veggies next, and then fruit. My first question is why can I eat large portions of foods I'm not supposed to eat with no problem, and then can't keep down a few bites of scrambled egg? Second question, how are you all eating so many carbs and still losing weight? I am also a diabetic (4 shots per day) and when I eat only protein my blood sugar bottoms out and then I eat CARBS! A vicious cycle. Today I have eatten two slices of ff ham.
