I use chocolate mix and Raspberry Da Vinci S/F Syrup. But maybe you are looking for just raspberry. What about Vanilla with fresh raspberries?
only1lgt 1 Posted July 30, 2007 I'm curious, how many calories are you eating each day? I am eating much less. Yesterday I had 1/4 c. of fat free cottage cheese with a slice of cantalope, lunch was a Campbell's Soup at hand (Wedding style) and for dinner I had some (2 oz.) meatloat with steamed zucchini. I was banded on June 28th and have lost 28 pounds. I limit my calories to 600 or so a day and I try to keep the calories down during the day so I have enough left to have a no sugar added fruit bar in the evening. My menu is dull, I know, but I am on the road during the day and must keep it easy to follow. Hope this helps. 1 chevy4x4man72 reacted to this
lessofme 1 Posted August 2, 2007 Just had my 8th fill yesterday. Suppose to be on mushies today... Breakfast (every weekday at work around 9:30...) 2 envelopes Kashi (hot Cereal, made with less Water than calls for). I top it off with a teaspoon of brown sugar, a few raisins and 5-6 pecans. It's very yummy and seems to keep me very full till almost 1:00. lunch - usually a clear type Soup or I go through a salad bar and get a cup of toppings only. I add some fat free ranch and shake it up. I get finely diced up chicken, bacon, cabbage, egg, mostly the good Proteins...can't usually eat it all, maybe 2/3 c. dinner - husband eats before I get home, so usually a Lean Cusine. snack before bed - 2 c. skim milk with Hershey's Syrup. Seem's like a dessert 1 chevy4x4man72 reacted to this

Breakfast made w/ 2/3 cup skim and 2 splendas. I had this 3 times and 2 1/2 cup servings blended Soup. Then I remembered the at we need to stay below 8 g sugar/serving. is that true or am I hallucinating? Ellen

Ellen It all depends on a couple of things, 1) what your doc suggests and 2) how many carbs you want to stick with. When you can't eat solids you tend to get really hungry if you eat sugar or carbs. My doc suggests staying at 800 calories. Each doc is different. I personally disagree with the 800 calorie thing before restriction. I mean, if we COULD do that we wouldn't need a band. I think the time between surgery and true restriction should be spent practicing bandster guidelines such as small bites, etc. But to each his own, if that works for you great, if not, that's great too. It's one of those personal decision things.

Chickie 15 Posted August 7, 2007 Not everyone eats as little as that. I for one eat a hell of a lot more than that. Brekky was an organic muesli bar, a fruche and a half a banana. lunch was a veggie burger, almost half of one anyway! (wholegrain bun, veggie patty, cream cheese, onion, Tomato, cue, beetroot, avocado, and grated carrot *drools*) Afternoon tea was a coffee with some home made biscotti. dinner was a broccoli Pasta pesto creation! (so very, very yummy!) And after dinner I had some watermelon with the boy-child. Granted, most people eat less than me, but not everyone lives on a half a teaspoon of food per meal. HonkyTonks 0 Posted August 14, 2007 I have sort of found it harder to eat regularly and three small meals a day.. My day usually consists of only two regular sized meals.. Is this bad? I want to eat breakfast but I find it difficult to eat in the morning when I first wake up. Breakfast: Nothing.. I usually have two flat whites made on skim before lunch Lunch: Usually a burger or fish and salad or steak and salad or chicken filo or smoething along those lines.. Will differ from day to day.. Today I had a small serving of butter chicken, rice and half a naan bread Dinner: Usually a serving of meat and vegetables.. Last night I had steak and salad I usually sneak in something for dessert - like a lowcal icecream/sorbet or some yoghurt I was banded in October 2005 and have lost 80kg's

Bullwinkle 1 Posted August 15, 2007 I had my fifth fill yesterday and was told that I have been “eating around” my band, because I’ve been eating soft foods – Soups, cottage cheese, yogurt – and, instead, need to eat Protein and THEN have the vegetables and other foods. But I was strictly told to eat solid Protein so that I wouldn’t be hungry. Further, I was told that 5 fills “should” have me at my sweet spot. I hope like Hell that she was right. So, I need help from you people. I am going to post what I eat and then I need someone to tell me if it’s okay and, if not, what I should be doing to make it right. Breakfast at 10:00am: ¾ cup of low fat cottage cheese coffee with Sweet-n-Low and low fat half-n-half lunch at 12:45pm: 1 Boca Burger 2 slices cheddar cheese Snack at 2:25pm: 5 Armour Brown-n-Serve sausage links 2 slices cheddar cheese After 5 fills, I can’t believe that I can still eat that much food, but I can. I’m trying not to be upset about it, but I can’t ignore that fact and pretend like I’m full when I’m not. Any and all comments are appreciated. Just don’t yell at me, please.
