yesterday

B-coffee, 5.3 oz greek yogurt w 1/2 scoop whey Protein

L-1 c ground beef, 2 t spanish rice, ff sour cream and 1 T pinto Beans

D-chicken drumstick w/ 1/2 c cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce

S-4 bites of cornbread dressing and cranberry sauce

Today

L- Vienna sausages w/ wheat crackers (forgot lunch)

D-1 drumstick, cornbread dressing (gosh I'm sick of dressing)

S-sf pudding

a lot, you are getting turkey day in early:wink:

so i was watching foodtv over the wkend and i saw a great recp for an alternative "turkey dish"

Luluc - oh my those raviol sound amazing, I think I might make those this weekend.

Yesterday: (bad day - nothing would stay down for B or L, then I was famished for dinner and ate too much but it stayed down.

B: 1/2 bagel w/ cream cheese & jam - no shocker that came back but I was at a conference & they didn't have the yogurt they usually do, I was unprepared

S: fresh berries (1/3 c.)

L: tried initial bites of deli turkey and cheese, few bites salad, potato salad - all came back (tried all 3 separately - all 3 came back) even tried cream of broccoli Soup, no chunks - came back :cursing:

S: 1-1.5 oz muenster cheese, few bites cheesecake - shocking it stayed :unsure:

D: 3 spoonfulls butternut squash & crab bisque, a small oven baked almond chicken breast w/ sweet & sour sauce

S: few bites pirate booty, 3 fun size packs Peanut Butter m&ms

s-1/2 cup pastrami and onions topped with mustard

l-5 chicken potstickers

d-1/2 cup sweet and sour shrimp and calamari

s-strawberry and cool whip parfait

exercise... 1hr with trainer

Breakfast: coffee w/ MIlk and Sweet & Low, EAS Advant Carb Control Choc Fudge Protein Drink

Lunch: 6 frozen meatballs w/ 1 TBL BBQ Sauce

Snack 1: String Cheese

Dinner: Frozen Mushroom (from Target) caps w/ Ranch Dressing

Snack 2: Archer Farms Raisin Nut Trail Mix

Exercise: walk/jog 2.25 miles burned 300 calories

my lap band is 7 or 8 weeks out. meet with dr today and i was told that I would only lose 50 to 60 % of my weight, just getting down to 200 or so lbs. today on the scale i was 320 running close with you. please tell me i will be able to reach 140.

Breakfast ~ 1 Egg & 1/4 C Peppers scrambled together and served atop a Wasa Sourdough Crispbread ... yum!

Lunch ~ 1.6oz Shredded chicken mixed w/ 1/2 C No Fat Refried Beans & topped w/ 1/8 C Shredded cheese, 1 T Sour Cream & Avocado Salsa

Snack ~ Egg salad on Wasa ... yum!

Dinner ~ Michelina's Meatloaf Entree

I have become addicted to Wasa =)

s- 1oz colby cheese & 4 triskets

l- 5 grilled shrimp

s- handful of pistachios

d- 3oz turkey meatloaf, 1/3c brown rice w/gravy

Yesterday

B: nothing...band just would not open up.

S: ff yogurt

L: cup of three mushroom Soup with fennel; an apple

D: sliced turkey (2 oz) with steamed carrots and turnip

S: 1/2 large container of ff yogurt. WAY too much, but it went down sooooo easily!

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
