Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

B-1 slice ham/pepper/cheese frittata 1 cup coffee

L- McDonald's Happy Meal (OMG! I won't do that tomorrow):thumbup:

D-3 oz salmon w/sauteed peppers, onions, & grape tomatoes

S-strawberry nutri-grain bar

Exercise-walked 4 miles

Thankfully tomorrow is a new day.

b: cup of coffee

L: 1 of blooeyez parmesan meatball (threw it up) :smile2:

D: very tiny piece of pot roast (threw it up)

S: double scoop chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake (kept it down)

I'm exhausted. Unfortunately I am to tight until the 21st which is when dr comes back up this way!! :thumbup:

A few days of postings to do - away on business with catered, limited band or diet friendly foods.

Thursday

B: 1 oz choose

L: chicken wrap minus the tortilla

S: worlds largest plum - looked more like an apple - a plapple?

D: 2 egg cheese and mushroom omelette (slid down easily with all the grease - ick)

Friday

B: yogurt and strawberries

S: cheese stick

L: cream of something unknown Soup

S: yogurt

D: 1/2 c fried rice and hot sausage

Saturday (home again)

B: oatmeal

L: bowl of lentil soup with grated cheese (it's ba-ack, Luluc)

S: apple

D: blue-eyes' meatballs - maybe 4, with cheese and veggie

S: popscicle

b- venison sausage w/half slice WW toast w/butter

l- @football party (TX/OU) 2 beers :eek:, 1/3c approx salmon spread w/veggies - picked all day

d- 1c pasta/sauce w/5meatballs (bloos)

*better today - bandanniversary day*

Sargento Chipolte Cheddar String Cheese

Couldn't find the cheese ... bummer :eek:

I did find hummus though! Bought the Athenos brand Spicy Three Pepper flavor and just had some on Triscuits ... yum! :crying:

I was actually looking for a brand called "Tribe" because I found a couple coupons for it ... if any of you buy that brand and want these coupons, let me know and I'll snail mail em to ya

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
