Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

started with a Protein Shake and cream of wheat, watermelon for a snack, mashed patatoes and pureed squash for lunch, watermelon for snack, and refried Beans with ff cheese for dinner. I was wondering if any one else out there was eating watermelon and cantaloupe at the pureed stage of the band. Got my Band on July 31. HOpe I am not messing up by having melons without purraing ? them. Can anyone tell me?

bella--everyday is different for me. I try to eat until I feel full but not stuffed. Sometimes a few bites will do it. Other days I think I can eat a horse.

b-lc slim fast

s-greek yogurt vanilla

l-spicy tai tuna 3/4 c

d-1/2 tuna sandwich

s-ww ice cream

B- EAS CarbControl chocolate shake

S - 1oz sweet & hot beef Jerky

L - 3oz crab mixed with 1tps miracle whip light

D - 1 meatball, 4 bites ceasar salad and 2oz chocolate chip cheesecake filling

S - 1oz honey roasted cashews and 2 cubes of cantaloupe

yesterday -

b- 1/3 cucumber slices/ 5 melba rounds & 3tbsp hummus

s- slice guoda cheese

l- 1/3c chicken salad on slice WW toast

s- handful of pretzles

d- 3/4c korean BBQ (pork)

s- handful granola

got a fill yesterday..so now i'm up to 6.6...:smile2:

b: venti iced chai tea latte

l: Soup of some sort. whatever the deli has today

s: if needed (no idea) i brought a sugar free pudding

d: leftover healthy potato Soup (same as yesterday lol)

I'm sort of kicking myself in the you know what because i had a bagel this week...i haven't lost any weight:frown: and i've been doing a 2-3 mile in home walking tape that i love. I'm hoping a little comes off even though i haven't made great choices..ugh.

I thought "free lunch" was over, but no, we ate free today again

Today

B- coffee, 2 slices of bacon, egg salad (made w/ 1 egg, 1 tsp. relish and 1 tsp of low fat mayo)

S- handful mixed nuts w/ 2 oz yogurt

L- 1/2 cheese burger w/o the bun,1 hot dog (plain)w/o the bun, 1 small pkg cheetos

S- other 1/2 cheese burger patty and 1 ice pop

D- 2 oz broiled fish

Georiga--earlier you said that you at oiklos (sp) greek yogurt. There are coupons on their website.

Thank you bigbaby! I will definitely check it out. It just so happens I am going grocery shopping tomorrow.

going to try to eat more (oh darn) up the calories to balance out the workouts.

yesterday -

b- 5oz honey greek yogurt w/handful of granola

s- ostrich Jerky stick

l- 5 grilled shrimp, few bites of salad

d- 3oz filet & 1/4 stuffed potato

s- 3oz FF peach yogurt w/handful of granola

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
