Monday January 10, 2011

Breakfast~Fried Egg and slice of pepperjack cheese on sandwich thin and 2 servings of half and half with my coffee

Snack~Atkins Peanut Butter Fudge Crisp Bar

Lunch~Sandwich thin with laughing cow cheese wedge spread, pickles, jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and turkey meat and 1/2 cup of kashi go lean cereal

Snack~Atkins vanilla Protein Shake and string cheese

Dinner~Wheat Pasta with Mushroom Pasta Sauce and 93% fat free ground turkey and caramel chocolate nut roll

Exercise~40 mins of Zumba for Xbox Kinect (Burned 327 calories)

Total

Calories~1,570

My band was tight today for some reason, I swear it's so odd that 3 days ago I could tolerate chicken fingers, and today, they are stuck.

Banded Dec 6, 2010, first fill was Jan 6th.

Today,

1/2 c of Egg Beaters mushed w one piece of Scrapple - Breakfast

lunch: 2 McDonalds Chicken Selects (awful stuck). I also dont think I chewed carefully enough, because I was driving and not paying attention.

dinner: 1 cup of green Beans, with a few tablespoons of hummus.

Breakfast~2 eggs scrambled and 3 slices of bacon

Snack~Caramel chocolate Nut Bar

Lunch~Whole Wheat Pasta with 93% fat free turkey meat and mushroom pasta sauce

Snack~15 ritz crackers 1 oz flamin hot cheetos (bad I know) and Dark Chocolate Protein shake

Dinner~6 tequila lime hot wings and spinach and white cheese stuffed weenies

Exercise~20 min Zumba

Breakfast~3 slices of bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, and 3 half and halfs with my 3 cups of coffee

Snack~Atkins Caramel Peanut Nougat Bar

Lunch~4 oz garlic butter tilapia with 1/2 cup of corn

Snack~5 ritz crackers and 1 serving of flamin hot cheetos, and Atkins Dark chocolate Protein Shake

Dinner~4 oz garlic butter tilapia with 1 cup of corn

Snack~Snack size serving of sour cream and onion chips and 1 serving of wheat thins Fiber selects

Exercise~ 20 mins of zumba

Water~64 oz

Calories~1,389

Carbs~90

Breakfast~veggie omelet 1 tbsp of salsa, 5 jalapenos, and 3 servings of half and half

Snack~Caramel chocolate Nut roll

Lunch~Chicken salad on sandwich thins, corn, and 1/2 cup of kashi go lean Cereal (dry)

Snack~1 oz flamin hot cheetos (my new addiction but in moderation) and 5 ritz crackers

Dinner~1 cup of spicy low carb chili, corn, and string cheese

I endulged in 2 whipped cream vodka and coke zeros (it was delicious and well worth the 134 calories :-)

No exercise

Calories~1,635

What brand of shrimp cocktail do you get?

This is pretty typical for me:

Breakfast: V-8 or Protein Shake

Snack: granola bar

lunch: shrimp cocktail (low calorie and high protein) or Soup

Snack: fruit (lately it's been cherries since they are in season)

Dinner: chicken, rice and veggies

Other ideas for Snacks that have been great for me are the imitation crab legs (high in Protein and low calorie) it really sticks with me. I also love the sippy soup cans that Campbells has out these days. They are very satisfying and just the perfect amount.

Breakfast~1 slice of extra lean turkey bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, and 1 half and half with my coffee

Snack~Sugar Free chocolate Jello Mousse

Lunch~4 oz garlic butter tilapia and 1/2 cup of corn

Snack~1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese w/ 5 ritz crackers

Snack while making dinner-Pure Protein Peanut Marshmallow Eclipse Protein Bar and 1 envelope of chicken broth to hold me over til dinner

Dinner~1 cup of spicy low carb chili

Late night snack~1 sandwich thin topped with 1 tbsp of reduced fat peanut butter

Calories~1,098

I like this site it lets me see what people like me are eating. Here is what i ate yesterday

B- Egg whites with 2 slices of Turkey Bacon 125 calories

S- cheese low fat 60 calories

L- Turkey patti wrap with 1/2 tablespoon of fat free mayo on a low carb tortilla/ side salad 220 calories

S- Apple 75 calories

D- 2 Turkey patties with 2 slices of turkey bacon / 1 cup of Green Beans 400 calories

62oz of Water :D

Late night snack~ Sandwich thin w/1 tbsp of reduced fat peanut butter

Exercise~walked for 1 hour

Water~68 oz

Calories~1,328

Carbs~158

Protein~135 grams

What are some of yalls favorite HIGH Protein Snacks? Here lately I love some Turkey Pepperoni.... just trying to get some new ideas, so I can try to get all my protein back in.

I am trying to get back on the losing wagon and gonna start doing Zumba at a local church here. I have hit the plateau and 98 pounds lost but I want to lose like 60 more!!!

B = 2 Cs. of coffee with ff milk

L = 3 oz turkey meat loaf, a few bites of salad, 1/2 c. cauliflower

snack = 2 pieces of fancy chocolates

D = WW Santa Fe chicken with 2 TBSP light sour cream

Snack = 1 no bake cookie

I need to make better choices with chocolate!

Just curious what you ate today ? Maybe those who are getting banded would also find it interesting to see examples of what we are eating to be sucessful . I will start

Snack- Peach

Dinner-Sweet Patato , tuna from a can to get Protein

Hi Kim,

Today I've had 2 Special K Protein Shakes (strawberry YUMMY), a slice of turkey spread with vegatable cream cheese, and for dinner we're having garlic scallops (sea scallops I eat the small ones too fast - bad!) with asparagus spears and 1/2 baked potato.

I am 4 years post lap band I have lost 62 lbs (in the first year and 1/2) now I'm maintaining. I wasn't the required weight at the start, I have a heart condition and had to get the additional weight off and it worked!!! I had to have 1st band out becasue it slipped so before it was put back in I gained some back so now I'm working on the last 7 and it seems harder than when I did it the first time!!!! back to serious exercise and have lost 6 lbs this month! I'm getting there. went from size 16 to size 8-10! I couldn't be happier!

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
