china 1 Posted June 24, 2009 hey luluc was wondering what is a caprese salad and what is in it. today b-peachy orange p-shake s-s/f pudding snack l-1.5 scrambled egg w/cheese(came up) s-s/f fudgesickle d-1/2c egg drop soup s-16oz cappuccino _________ 970calories 32oz c.lite been a week and still cant eat food only soft stuff and liquids. hope it loosens up soon. oooh, those taste like cardboard - i like sesame myself. yesterday - b- slice of ciabatta toast w/hummus & cucumbers l- small caprese salad (my new summer favorite!), slice of cantelope d- few bites of guac & chips, small tortialla Soup, margarita s- snickers ice cream bar :thumbup: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

punkster 0 Posted June 24, 2009 was wondering what is a caprese salad and what is in it. usually fresh mozzarella with thick slices of Tomato and leaves of basil. it often has some balsamic vinegar and a little olive oil on it and it is amazing. b - 1-2 oz of cottage cheese l - left over chicken enchilada (1/2 cup) d - scallops and flounder. yum. Bozzj 0 Posted June 24, 2009 so i've been BAD lately...been on a 3 week bender....i don't know why i do this to myself!!! Anyhoo, my cheating and acting like what i eat does not make me gain weight actually made me gain like 7lbs. in 3 freaking weeks!!! Did i mention that i have not exercised either? oh yeah. just tv and food. SO i'm back..and i'm ready to be accountable again. Today b: plain greek yogurt with fresh blueberrys, granola and a little honey on top l: lean cuisine panini d: not sure. i might make myself a salad with some leftover roasted chicken. s: fruit--if needed Exercise: well i'm going to the chiropractor today right after work to have my back checked on...i have this funny feeling though that it hurts because i stopped exercising...i might go for a walk tonight if i don't get home too late from the doc Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

punkster 0 Posted June 25, 2009 Do you have trouble with the Tomato skin? yes, so i cant use grape tomatoes (although i used to before the surgery and they were delicious). i have to use large slices of like beefsteak tomatoes and eat the middle out of them. i use a ball of fresh mozzarella which is plenty for my family and about the same size. i just layer them on a round plate. it is tasty and beautiful. b - few bites of yogurt l - 4 chicken nuggets d - 2 crunchy tacos (daughter ate a lot of them so maybe 1/2 to 3/4 really.)
