yesterday

b - 1 chicken wing & 1/2 baked sweet potatoe w/butter

l - 1 slice turkey meatloaf

d- 1 italian turkey sausage w/peppers & onions and cheese

B- Atkins shake 160 cal

L- taco bell fresco taco and pintos and cheese and had a couple bites of my neices food so about 400 cal

s- sf ff latte probably 100 cal

s- 100 cal pack almonds

d- turkey burger lettuce wrapped with cheese ketchup and mustard 250 cal

so a little over 1000 cal today:cursing:

im getting a fill on thursday and CANT WAIT!!

I just had surgery on June 1 I am still on aliquid diet

Breakfast : greek yogurt with 1/4 c mandrian oranges

Lunch: homemade chicken Soup

Pm snk: GNC berry shake with 1/4 c berries

Supper:1/2 c chicken,1/4 c potatoes,1/4 c mixed vegetables(all ground in my magic bullet)You all must of had your surgery earlier than me I will graduate to mushies in one week Yeah!

B 1/4 c ff greek yogurt, fruit and a bit of honey

L ff hot dog no bun, half an avocado, pickle spear

S sf dove bite size mint choate

D chicken sausage 2 tbs of lentil veg salad

Hi, everyone, it's been a long time, but I'm back. Kinda fell off the wagon, but I have a new strength. No more Desserts (they seem to go down too easy)

yesterday

b- vanilla creme Protein Shake (35g Protein, 2g carbs, 160 calories)

l-taco salad, ground turkey, shredded lettuce, cheese, lf sour cream and salsa (yum-o) (1 cup):thumbup:

d-cioppino (with salmon and scallops)

Yesterday:

B-lowcarb Slim Fast

L-Few tortilla chips and Rotel

D-A few bites of salad, 1/2 blackened stuffed catfish over rice, a bite of steamed veggies, a few bites of sweet potato bread pudding.

Today I am going to eat more regularly and make better food choices.

Back from my stepson's wedding this weekend. Didn't do too bad overall, but ate a little more than usual Saturday evening at the reception.

Today:

B: 1 slice multigrain toast (going down harder since my fill - may be getting to the end of eating bread) 1/2 small banana

L: 1/2 omelette with gr pepper, onion, ham

1/4 c. hashbrowns

(left overs from yesterday's lunch)

1/2 Hershey bar (last of the candy from the wedding - thank goodness it is out of the house)

D: Will be 3 oz BBQ pork

1/4 c. cauliflower

S: Decaf skinny vanilla latte (coffee night with friends)

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
