Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

I am trying to cut waaayyyy down on artificial sweeteners and it's HARD! I'm also almost completely cutting sugar out too. I never realized how much artificial sweetener I was taking in. It's in my tea, in my coffee, those little bottled Water flavorings, SF Jello, SF pudding, etc. The only thing I'm not cutting it out on is my low carb Protein drinks. I'm not ready to give those up. Ok, enough rambling.

Today-

B- Atkins latte shake

L- tuna salad

S- 1oz almonds

D- 4 garlic wings from Beef 'O' Brady's

S- LC slim fast or Decaf coffee

i'm really happy today because i was upset yesterday about not losing weight for nothing as i lost 2lbs. Yay.

Today:

b: venti iced chai tea (skim) latte & a bisscotti

l: i'll order out...probably will get a Soup or something

d: going to bonefish grill and will get crab cakes and these cheesy potato things (totally not low fat).

Gym: no gym today...i'll go to lucille roberts tomorrow morning for a cardio class and again on sunday.

I'm from north jersey (like 5 miles outside NYC).

i have several friends up in hoboken...:rolleyes:

congrats on the 2lbs!!

yesterday - not the best, was CRAVING italian food

b- chicken salad on wasa cracker

l- slice of pizza

d - half portion of lasagna, slice of garlic bread, glass of wine

..glad i killed that bottle finally!!

s- yogurt raisins

Yesterday:

B: 1 cheesestick, 100 cal popcorn pack

S: chips and spinach dip :rolleyes:

L: 1/2 c. mediterranean Pasta

then nothing else because I crashed after having been up for 30 hours

will try to be better today

B-- cheese stick and saltines ( no salt ones) at dialysis

6am

L -- Chinese food --- some spicy pineapples, a little

cabbage, chicken with black bean sauce -- one crab

puff --- actually very little of this -- a buffet and I

wasted money --- 1/4 c soft ice cream -- tea

D-- will eat nothing--- too guilty about lunch

Today:

B: malted mocha Protein shake

L: 1 cheese enchilada, couple chips and salsa, 2 bites each rice and Beans

S: 2 oatmeal raisin Cookies :(

D: 2 bites chicken chorizo sausage (whole foods taster)

4 bites crispy onion chicken (dream dinners taster)

S: 2/3 piece berry chantily cake :thumbup: again

Georgia Girl - I hope you feel better soon...stomach virus' are the worst.

Do any of you eat a lot more in the evening? I'm not sure if I am just hungrier, bored or finally have time to eat...have two kiddies...one 25 months, the other 7 months.....

Today:

B - pure Protein shake

S - coffee w/milk and splenda

L - WW cheddar twist - 110 cal

S - pure Protein Shake

D - 2 wasa crackers w/thin layer cream cheese and tad spicy bean dip from Trader Joes and colby cheese...seriously yummy dinner

S - 70 cal rice pudding

Great cardio workout 40 minutes.

My Friday:

B-Grande Caramel Macchiatto

L-lc slim fast with PB powder

Snack-chicken strip

D-1 cheese papusa, 1 piece of yucca, 1/2 a tamale, and a few chips with bean dip.

Movies--NOTHING, yeah!! :thumbup:

In my opinion my dinner was way too big. I feel that I shouldn't be able to eat that much. :(

yesterday -

b- 2 skinny lattes

s - handful of wasabi peas

l- left over lasagna (half portion)

d - mexican shrimp cocktail (lots avacado), margaritas - yes plural UGH

....been a LONG wk, off to the gym now.

I definitely think I eat a lot more at night -sometimes my Breakfast isn't till lunch time b/c I'm not hungry.

forgot to add a grande skinny vanilla latte for a snack yesterday.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

        Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
