Luluc, no, it's still riding or someone has it. I pray not, cause I love to bless people and I knew that Tarkez (student)would have been over the moon with his things. I will probably send some money for my DD to get him some more. Our principal gave the staff T-shirts and we can wear jeans for the rest of the wk, I did buy me some underwear yesterday, but my nice black jeans are in the luggage. LOL

Well, I'm happy cause things could have been worst. Thanks for asking.

Yesterday

B-coffee, 1 sausage

L-2 oz Buddig honey ham and 5 wheat crackers (3 w/pnut butter)

S-2 handful of pnuts

D-4 bites of cornbread dressing (will it ever go away) and 1 chicken thigh (tried another, but it decided not to stay)

Today

Breakfast: coffee with Sweet & Low & Milk, EAS-Advent Edge Carb Control Choc Fudge Protein Shake

Lunch: Leftover Sirloin STeak with 2 Tbls Bernaise Sauce & 3/4 Cup of Baked Beans

Dinner: Taco Bueno Pintos & cheese, Taco Bueno Beef Taco w/ Sour Cream

Snack: Cheese & Wheat Thins

Total Calories=1,371

Carbs=96

Fat=70

Protein=77

Walk/Jogged 2.5 miles and burned 325 Calories

yesterday

B-choc Peanut Butter walnut shake

L-1 stuffed shell(dream dinners)

D-1 cookie,handful of almonds,2 bites ice cream sandwich (went to a hockey game)

Today

B-choc peanut butter walnut shake

L-1c chili w/2 saltines

D-3.5 oz tuna w/1 tbsp mayo & pickles relish 7 baked wheat crackers

B - Fiber One Chewy Bar

S - NF Cappuccino

L - 1.5 Fresh Thai Spring Rolls (chicken) & peanut dipping sauce

S - 1 oz pepper jack cheese

D - 3 small bites of multi-grain pancake (had uncomfortable feeling so stopped)

S - 1/3 cucumber and hummus

LNS (late night snack!) - cucumber & cream cheese & 4 saltines

I'm hungry right now...trying to figure out if it is head hunger or real hunger. When will I ever figure myself out???:smile2:

Luluc & other hummus folks...what brand & flavor hummus do you buy? Never had it, but want to try it & want to buy the best tasting one.

Yesterday:

B: coffee w/creamer & 2 lf granola bars

S: orange

L: tuna with a tossed green salad

D: turkey & swiss on sourdough wasa x2

S: celery & Peanut Butter

total calories 1,105

total Protein 72

i like to make my own - but if not, i'm pretty partial to krogger's brand. i've tried a bunch, but theirs seems to be the closest tasting to what i make & like...

B- Sf-FF- pudding about 2oz

L- 2oz mashed sweet potatoes & 2oz maid rite meat no sauce or bread

S- EAS Protein vanilla

D- chicken and dumplings 2oz with 2oz cornbread stuffing. Yummy!

s-chix salad, sm. coffee

d-steak, salad,24oz c.lite:biggrin:

i LOVE it. the milky Protein Drinks get old after a while & this is something i can drink easily every day. @90 calories & 23g Protein per 16oz, i felt like i was drinking a crystal light drink (sorta - lol). i was able to run an extra mile yesterday before looking down to see if i "can" be done.:cursing:

thanks so much for the recommendation.

OK luluc, now just get the powered BCAA from Vitamin Shoppe & add to the nectar & you'll be Superwoman on that treadmill!

Lunch: 3 Poppers--Stuffed Jalepenos w/ Cheddar cheese & 1 Tbl Homemade Ranch Dressing

Dinner: Pot Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Salad

Snack: Sargento Chipolte String Cheese & Wheat Thins

I DID NOT WORKOUT and I feel horrible guilt for it and will try to work out harder tomorrow! :cursing:

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
