Stevehud 1,790 Posted May 26, 2015 So, as many of you know i recently had an issue with chest pain radiating to the back/shoulder blade are. atypical type pain for a leak or stricture. After a stay in the ER and a nuclear stress test cardiac problems were rules out, a ct scan showed enlarged abdominal lymph nodes, which brought up the cancer word. I had an endoscopy a few days back that showed no abnormalities, no stricture leaks or ulcers. But i still live now daily, with this pain, which is very hard. I have been doing as much research etc as possible and am leaning towards pancreatitis or stones of some kind, i don't have my gallbladder but evidently you can still get stones in the bile ducts. Now i've started getting very lightheaded, especially when moving from, say a seated position, to a standing one, or vice versa. I dont think I am dehydrated. I try to drink as much as possible. Has anyone else had to deal with these things. While I am losing weight etc, these issues have taken a toll on my physically, mentally and emotionally. Any help, or suggestions would be appreciated. judyoz 240 Posted May 26, 2015 Sound like hypotension (low B/P) to me. Which can be caused by a variety of things. Have they looked into Stones? Nobody should have to live with that kind of pain. Best of luck to you. Judy
AvaFern 3,516 Posted May 26, 2015 The dizzy feeling you're getting when you stand up from a seated position sounds like orthostatic hypotension. There are a lot of potential causes, some of which you didn't mention in your post and which are relatively easy to fix if they can be diagnosed. Hope you feel better! http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/orthostatic-hypotension/basics/causes/con-20031255
