IamCJayne 1 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) I am 13 days post op. When I came home, I had lost about 15 pounds. I lost nothing during pre-surgery liquid phase. I am now stuck at 13 pounds only. I have been this way the past 5 days. While I am not having to use my insulin now and I am happy about that, I am super disappointed that I am not losing this soon out. My clothes fit the same also. I'm feeling that I may have made a mistake. Any other stories or thoughts like this? Edited May 26, 2015 by IamCJayne
VDB 800 Posted May 26, 2015 If you get your Water, virtually eliminate unnecessary carbs, eat lean Protein first and then a bit of veges/low sugar fruit, chew like crazy, you will lose. The plateaus are tough to get through, but already I am seeing lots of weight coming off.
James Marusek 5,244 Posted May 26, 2015 13 days post-op! That is too soon to worry. Just stick with the program. Meet the Protein, Fluid and Vitamin requirements and watch the magic happen.

I know how you feel, I'm 16 days and have been having huge buyers remorse I miss food like mad, I'm not losing weight, actually I fluctuate like crazy, and it's doing my head in. I have been sticking to the required meal plan, I think it may have put me into starvation mode, and on top of that I feel freezing cold all the time, where as before the surgery I always ran hot. And also my boobs are tender very very tender and have been for the past two weeks. I hate myself right now.
IamCJayne 1 Posted June 11, 2015 I freeze a lot too. For the first time tonight I got sick. Every time I eat I feel yuck. I can't determine if I am eating too much, eating too big of a bite, or eating something my body can't handle. Either way I am finding I don't like the way I feel. I can't fix what I am doing if I don't know what's wrong.
Goldau99 2 Posted June 12, 2015 All I can say is that it gets better. I had revision surgery from lap-band to RNY on April 29th. First 3-4 weeks was not great at all. Everything I ate made me feel sick. But you can get thru it. I decided pre-surgery that I wouldn't weigh myself more than once a week. And I've pretty much stuck to that and it really helps because you are better able to see the results.
