PennStater920 22 Posted May 26, 2015 Hey everyone! Long-time reader, first-time poster here! My surgery is tomorrow and I'm super nervous! Any advice about the days at the hospital? Or the whole journey in itself? I would greatly appreciate any advice and encouragement!
I'mDoingIt! 88 Posted May 26, 2015 congratulations! There is already so much info on this board about your hospital stay that you've probably already read. Just don't bring ton of stuff - remember your chapstick and gas x strips - and get up and walk walk walk as soon as you can. Let us know how you do. GOOD LUCK!! Newman19 44 Posted May 26, 2015 Don't let yourself get too nervous. It is over before you know it and after the first couple of days, you will continue to feel better every day. I am almost 6 weeks post op and I have been amazed how easy my recovery has been. My two foot surgeries were way, way worse. Good luck and congratulations. sparkles1971 47 Posted May 26, 2015 Don't get discouraged and remember it is normal to feel sad and regret after surgery. Every day you will feel WAY better than the day before, so take it one day at a time!
