linedancer718 44 Posted May 26, 2015 I was wondering if any one has found a way to lessen the amount of sagging skin after WLS. Does wearing tight clothing help? Thought about wearing a sports bra, at least at night, to keep the girls from getting long. I am concerned about my lower belly. Doc said it will be longer then it is now. Unfortunately, my insurance wont pay to have the skin removed. Thoughts and suggestions on this topic would be appreciated. Thanks
Rebecca Jo Ragon 33 Posted May 26, 2015 What I have read from other posts is that Water (hydration), great moisturizer and strength conditioning can help keep the skin tight. I think the amount of weight you lose and your age will come in to play as well. We can't really do anything about those but we can make sure we get in plenty of Water, keep moisturizing our skin and do toning exercises to keep things as tight as possible. If anyone knows of anything else that will help, please let us know:)
Carriejess 27 Posted May 27, 2015 Sadly this is mostly down to genetics but hydration, trying not to lose the weight really quickly and excercise especially weights will all help
