krissy202001 5 Posted May 24, 2015 Who eats spaghetti squash and how far out were you when you ate it? I'm 8 weeks and can have soft veggies but wasn't sure if spaghetti squash would be included.
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted May 24, 2015 Spaghetti squash "should" be included because it is cooked and you are not eating the rind. I plan on getting one of those spiralizers and making noodles out of veggies myself!
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted May 24, 2015 I love spaghetti squash but I'd hold off a bit. It is very filling, and you really should be concentrating on Protein right now. I am two years out and 3-4 bites of it and I'm stuffed.
AvaFern 3,516 Posted May 25, 2015 I love spaghetti squash with marinara and zucchini with marinara when I use my vegetti to make veggie noodles. I haven't had more than one or two bites of Pasta since I had my sleeve so both of these options make me feel like I'm eating Pasta (sort of). I tend to get full really quickly with both the squash and zucchini so remember to eat slowly. Even at over a year and a half out, the other day I ate my zucchini marinara too quickly and was puking 5 minutes later.
ShrinkingPeach 1,291 Posted May 25, 2015 Yikes! Yes good advice, I know we still have to always eat Protein first so I know there won't be much room for the squash.
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted May 25, 2015 My NP wasn't big on anything stringy either for 6 months. No string cheese unless I bit into it (what kind if monster does that!?!?), no beef Jerky, no spaghetti squash, celery or rhubarb.
