lauriedunn1 1 Posted July 12, 2015 @@megan143 - I really don't have anyone around here post op. I would love to find a walking/workout buddy. Do you live around here? What do you do for your exercising. I really haven't gotten into any routine and would dearly love to start
megan143 6 Posted July 12, 2015 Hey Laurie! I'm about 5 weeks post op and I just moved to Morristown so my exercise right now has been moving and unpacking. Lol. I'm going to join a retro fitness in parsippany, but I have a bunch of dvd's I wanted to do also if you're interested? I have the t25 program (which is intense but can be modified) and I think insanity (which I'm def not able to do anytime soon haha). I also have Zumba and dance videos which I figured would be a fun way to start. Thoughts?
lauriedunn1 1 Posted July 12, 2015 Well congrats on your 5 weeks! I was still not able to do any exercising at that time. I had some heart issues after my surgery and the Drs didn't give me clearance for anything more than walking until about week 8. By that time I was back at work and exercise was far from my mind! No excuses I know. I've actually got 2 weeks left of an accounting class before I can start something new. Maybe we can get together for something after that. Even if it's meeting in the middle somewhere for a walk.
